The production of 2012 sci-fi/action/war blockbuster directed by Peter Berg cost $209million. It earned $303 million, which, compared to its budget and considering its stellar cast – Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgård, Brooklyn Decker and Rihanna –, is a rather moderate success.
